PrimaFibra® is a special soft wheat bran fraction with a high natural fibre content in the form of a light powder, extracted during the normal milling process.
Primafibra® is a 100% natural ingredient which, when added to a normal flour or semolina, is able to significantly improve
the nutritional profile and increase the aromas that the finished product will release during cooking, without changing its structure and texture.
The fruit of research
PrimaFibra® is the result of the NUTRATEC® research project, carried out between 2010 and 2013 on our initiative in collaboration with DISAFA - Department of Food Science of the University of Turin - and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology and Nutrition of the University of Eastern Piedmont.
