University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo

The University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo is the first legally recognised university in the world entirely dedicated to the study of food.

Founded in 2004 from an idea of Carlo Petrini, founder and President of Slow Food, it shares the founding principles and philosophy of the association, which can be summed up in the concept of "good, clean and fair": the three fundamental criteria for consciously defining the quality of food.

The University aims to train the Gastronome, an innovative and transversal figure in the panorama of professions linked to the agri-food sector, formed on the basis of a multidisciplinary teaching model, in which scientific and humanistic subjects are combined with field experience and study trips in Italy and around the world.

Molini Bongiovanni shares the vision and objectives of the UNISG project and supports its teaching and research activities, actively collaborating in the life of the university as a Supporting Partner.

AIRC

With the aim of spreading ethical principles and corporate social responsibility, with particular reference to the prevention of diseases that have a direct and indirect link with food, we have chosen to support AIRC, the Italian Association for Cancer Research, by funding a scholarship for a young researcher.

On 24 October 2019, in Rome, we received the "Credere nella ricerca" (Believe in research) award from President Sergio Mattarella, at the Quirinale Palace where the annual ceremony dedicated to AIRC was held.

AVPN

The Association Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) was founded in June 1984 in Naples with the aim of promoting and protecting the True Neapolitan Pizza in Italy and around the world, based on a strict international regulation that summarizes the basic rules for recognizing and differentiating it from the many other existing varieties, thus giving it maximum dignity and recognition.

The Association is also committed to the promotion and protection of the affiliated pizzerias and the products of the production chain linked to the True Neapolitan Pizza as well as the professionalisation of pizza makers.

Our Carlotta and Vera flours are officially part of the AVPN's Register of Approved Suppliers.

The Verace Pizza Napoletana Olympics were held in 2019: 150 Italian and foreign pizza makers, 20 participating nations and 5 disciplines. Of these, 2 were won by our close collaborators: gold medal for the "Mastunicola" category to Salvatore de Rinaldi (pizzeria "Casa de Rinaldi" - Naples) and to Fabio Buttaci (pizzeria "Vicolo Battisti" - Asti) for the "Gourmet" category.

European Commodities Exchange

Claudio Bongiovanni, since 2014 President of the Turin Commodities Exchange, during the last meeting held in Rouen (Fr) on 25 October 2018, was elected President of the European Commodities Exchange for the two-year period 2021-2023, a position to which he will automatically be entitled after a period as Vice-President.

The position was proposed to him after the great success of the 2016 edition of the ECE (European Commodities Exchange) fair, held in Turin and organised by a team of professionals led by Bongiovanni himself.
